EINAR KNOWS HOW TO PRAY WITH PASSION!

EEEEEEEWW! Making necklaces out of severed ears?! I bet most of them came from The Amanda Show's barber. Ugh, how many Thors does this series need?

"That's a lie. I'm no Iron Fist. That show was terrible, anyway."

DickBalls • 1 year ago

I'm with you the entire first season was constant fighting and now this mf is a slave and doesn't fight anybody with literally 0 explanation. Like is a different person writing it or something

DarkHelsing • 1 year ago

Exactly bro

Jani SIr • 10 months ago

The fighting sucked in season 1 anyway.
It should have been much more historically accurate, not this borderline superhero power level BS.

LosLegendsReborn • 6 months ago

Ngl seeing a history class in an anime sounds mad boring I'm glad the altered it and didn't make it fully historical especially since historically thorfinn isn't even a fighter but just an explorer

Jani SIr • 6 months ago

The plot alterations don't particularly matter, it's just fiction.
However the characters being superhuman just really kills the action scenes.
The rule of cool can be applicable to fantasy / sci-fi settings, but even then what really sells a good action scene is either the tactics involved and/or the intricate choreography, and those kind of fall flat if the characters pull bullshit like Thorfinn's dad cutting 3 people and a pole meters apart with a single axe swing...
The best fight scenes in anime are in Junketsu no Maria, whenever the protagonist isn't on screen it's a surprisingly historically accurate depiction of middle age European warfare.

Valid, While I still think the action could have been a bit higher in this season, I think it was a 8.4/10 szn 2.
